I arrived on these beautiful shores 20 years ago with my husband and our two gorgeous, young boys. Originally from London, I have over the past thirty or so years slowly gravitated north.
Arriving in Bolton, Lancashire in the 90’s, saw the birth of our son, Toby, making new, great friends, and spectacular nature, which I immediately loved and appreciated. Walking in the Forest of Bowland became my sanctuary and connection with nature and plants.
Our second move took us to Edinburgh, Scotland, where our second son, Joshua was born. A colder climate and the warmest people made for a truly wonderful experience. Grateful to have been given an opportunity to explore this magnificent country and its most breath-taking scenery that often stood before me.
Leaving family and friends in the UK was tough and had a profound effect on my well-being. The ups and downs I experienced living in Norway during the first few years led me to Ayurveda, and eventually a place of balance. With continued balance and curious minds, we have explored this wonderful country, which never disappoints. A place, I’m happy (most of the time) to call home.
